Our program
The aspiring Graphic Designer is creative, visually perceptive and passionate about communication through digital and print media. He/she has an interest in innovation, visual identity and transmedia graphic production.
He is proactive, with the ability to work in teams and solve problems creatively, seeking to transform ideas into impactful visual projects, strengthen his artistic talent and adapt to trends in design, communication and the creative industry.
The Graphic Design graduate from Salazar y Herrera will be a professional with the ability to conceive and execute dynamic and transmedia graphic systems, designed for physical and digital media. They will be trained to create, produce and manage graphic projects with communicational, commercial, educational or entertainment objectives, integrating design, functionality and context criteria. They will be able to assume creative and technical roles that require image, color, typography, composition and technology management, with an integral vision oriented to visual innovation. Their training will allow them to adapt to different media and platforms, developing graphic pieces that respond to real communication, identity or visual project needs.
A graduate in Graphic Design will be able to work as a graphic designer for print or digital media, visual producer, multimedia content creator, transmedia designer, illustrator, layout designer or corporate image designer.
You will also be qualified to work in advertising agencies, design studios, marketing departments of companies, publishing houses, digital media, or as a freelance, offering branding, visual identity, web design or multimedia services.
In addition, you will be able to undertake your own projects: design brands, creative studios, independent multimedia production, or work as an “author designer”, managing your own artistic or commercial proposals.
The University Program of Graphic Designor of the Salazar y Herrera University Institution, allows you to choose lines of deepening that bring you closer to your dreams:
- Virtual Objects: Audiovisual Production, Digital Didactics, Virtual Teaching-Learning Experiences.
- Digital Entertainment: Digital Ludic, Game and Graphics, Technological Interaction.

There you will have to fill in your data and upload them in PDF format the following documents:
- Identity card
- ICFES test results (Saber 11)
- High school diploma and certificate
- Photo white background (3×4, ID size)
- EPS or Sisbén certificate
