Human Resources
The program of Human Resources of the Institución Universitaria Salazar y Herrera trains professionals capable of managing organized work and human talent in contemporary organizations, from a humanistic, ethical, strategic and sustainable perspective.
Inspired by Christian humanism and aligned with the guidelines of the Colombian Ministry of National Education, the program integrates administrative, social, technological and identity-based knowledge to respond to the dynamics of today's world of work and the challenges of organizations in local, national and international contexts.

Students need to reach Level B1 (12 sub-levels) of a second language, according to the Common European Framework, to graduate.

The curriculum is structured in four training components, distributed over ten (10) academic semesters:
Disciplinary Component
It constitutes the core of the program and develops the competencies of Human Administration, oriented to human talent management, organizational development, labor legislation, welfare, compensation, organizational transformation and strategic decision making.
Socio-humanistic Component
Strengthens communication, ethical, citizenship and argumentative skills, promoting professionals with critical thinking, social responsibility and commitment to human dignity and the common good.
Science and Technology Component
Promotes the use of technological, analytical and research tools, oriented to the resolution of organizational problems, innovation, entrepreneurship and data-based decision making.
Identity Component
Consolidates the Salazarist seal, promoting strategic thinking, creativity, entrepreneurship and ethical coherence based on the principles of Christian humanism.
The Human Resources Manager at Salazar y Herrera is a professional with:
