The applicant to the Systems Technology is a programming, networking and technology infrastructure enthusiast. He is innovative, proactive and
with the ability to design digital solutions that optimize processes and improve information management.
He is interested in information security, systems administration and software development, seeking to strengthen technical and strategic competencies that will allow him to perform successfully in a dynamic and technological work environment.
The Salazar y Herrera Systems Technology graduate will be a technologist with comprehensive training in computer science, capable of developing, implementing and managing software solutions, networks and technological infrastructure.
Will be able to design desktop, web or mobile applications; manage computer networks; and ensure the technical operation of computer systems with updated standards. They will have a solid foundation in basic, humanistic and technological sciences, which will allow them to adapt to changing environments and understand the role of technology in organizational contexts.
An IUSH systems technologist may work as a generic or custom software developer, junior software analyst, or network and infrastructure (LAN) specialist.
He/she will also be in charge of the implementation and maintenance of computer and communications systems in organizations of any kind. In addition, the program allows students to continue their studies towards an undergraduate degree in Systems Engineering if they wish, which broadens their professional projection.
