Christmas With You 2025
At Institución Universitaria Salazar y Herrera we believe that Christmas begins when a heart decides to share. Therefore, from November 12 to 15 we carried out the campaign “Christmas with you 2025 - Let's live solidarity”, a collection in which our university community joined to deliver toiletries, cleaning products and non-perishable food for the social work of the Archdiocese of Medellin: Monsignor Valerio Jimenez Home.
Echoes of the Soul: Stories of Love and Misery
From Monday, November 24 through Friday, November 28, the Institución Universitaria Salazar y Herrera will host the exhibition Ecos del Alma: Relatos de Amor y Miseria, an artistic exhibit based on the work of the same name by Colombian writer Edison Patiño Mazo. The exhibition will be part of an itinerant tour that will travel through Medellin and other areas of the department in 2026, thanks to the joint work of the Antioquia Higher Education Institutions Libraries Board and the management of the Institutional Library, led by Jenny Quintero.
5th International School of Design and Creation
The Institución Universitaria Salazar y Herrera highlights the participation of Professor Edison Patiño Mazo as a special guest at the 5th International School of Design and Creation: Emotions in Everyday Life, organized by the ITM. This event brings together experts, teachers and creators to reflect on the role of emotions in the processes of design and contemporary creation.
II Congress of Non-Profit Entities of Antioquia
The Salazar y Herrera University Institution participated this Tuesday as a guest at the II Congress of Non-Profit Organizations (ESALES) of the Department of Antioquia, a space organized by the Government of Antioquia that brought together organizations of the sector to reflect on current challenges and regulatory changes that impact their work.
